I found Eset worth it for the firewall alone. The free ones for me were getting too bloated and nagging.

From an online banking perspective, maybe our banks and card companies should be advising or recommeding software to consumers:

Surely if your bank was to recommend one and it failed, that would make them liable instead of you?
