Icesave Problem

I applied to ICESAVE to transfer my ISA from the Leeds Building Society in late February. My passwords arrived from Icesave and I went on holiday. I returned to find a letter from Leeds BS asked me to confirm I actually wanted to transfer the ISA by returning my passbook to them. I did so by hand to their head office but it was by now 27th March. Meanwhile at Icesave I could was now able to view my account and could see that my transfer had not happened. Also I thought that my Direct Debit would not be up and running until my transfer went in - I had £3000 waiting to go in for my 2007/8 tax free allowance.
I rang Icesave on Thursday 27th March to ask their advice and they said that they had no Direct Debit set up for my account and have not received the form (I know that it was definately in the same envelope as the Transfer form). I now had 6 working days to get money to them (or so I thought) Icesave said that my £3000 would have to be there by Wednesday at the latest giving me only 4 working days. I was upset as this was their error and I was not prepared to lose the £30 fee for a CHAPS payment. They offered to allow me to transfer bank to bank (not CHAPS) and gave me their holding account details. I did it on Thursday (27/03/08) night.
The transfer from Leeds BS is now there, my £3000 transfer is not and I don't know what to do in order that I don't lose my 2007/8 ISA allowance. Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
