New Sky+ box smells of old wee!

This is the first time I've heard of sky giving the Pi$$ instead of taking it !!

Its probably the sealant, smells vile.

Pretty sure the smell will be the sealant, it definitely has a sharp urine-like smell till it cures.

Can't you get down closer to the sealant and give it a proper sniff?

Well, two weeks on and the smell is diminishing, but is still there. I tried phoning Sky about it, but just got fed up with their silly time-wasting phone line - surprise surprise, there was no option that said
"if your Sky box smells of old wee, then press 2..."

I did a quick Google and it looks like others have had the same problem with this type of Amstrad Sky+ box.
