Fixed Rate ISA and TOISA

I want to open a Fixed Rate Cash ISA Bond with Nationwide in 08/09 tax year with the new maximum amount and then also transfer in the amount that is sitting in a TOISA - also with Nationwide.
Is it posssible to do this after I have put the lump sum in or does the TOISA have to be transferred at the same time ?
The information suggests you can only make one payment into Fixed Rate.
Thanks in advance

That would be normal. Fixed rate accounts usually only take an initial deposit. Some will take additional deposits whilst the offer is open.0

Its possible to open more than one Nationwide Fixed Rate ISA, each one would of course be at the prevailing rate offered at the time it receives funds.
So effectively someone could apply to transfer an ISA to Nationwide as one fixed rate ISA.
On Tuesday somebody could ( assuming its still available) open another fixed rate Nationwide ISA with anything from 1.00 upwards to 3600 for Tax Year 2008/09
Then at a later date open another or more Nationwide fixed rate ISAs could be opened ( assuming that they are still available) until they have subscribed maximum of 3600 for tax year 2008/09. ( excluding transfers in from previous years)
So O/P whether or not its possible for Nationwide to do what u want in one transaction is irrelevant because if they are done as seperate transactions it just means you have two fixed rate certificates.0
