1st class recorded post

my Mil posted my twins b'day card 1st class recorded last friday(28th) and its still not reached us....all the other cards posted on the same day with a bog standard first class stamp reached us on the 29th...gggrrr so annoying..how long do you think it will take?

I'd give it a few days yet - it's been less than a week and you know what post is like these days!

If it was sent recorded you should get some free stamps if it doesn't arrive...

Tell me about it...I posted some CDs recorded on the 17th....we're still waiting.

If they were recorded on the 17th, the engineers need to mix them, and that doesn't just take a few days....

Recorded does not mean it will get there any quicker than a "bog standard first class stamp", it just means it will be signed for at the other end.

The last time I sent signed for post it took 20 days. I phoned and complained my post had not arrive and they told me they had lost it!! They told me they had 3 weeks to deliver it!! Never again.:mad:

I bought a item from ebay and he sent 1st class recorded on the 1st of March still nothing, So he sent a replacement last friday and nothing yet,

its been a week and still nothing!and it makes me so mad that they dont advise you when you use recorded that it can take weeks and why cant you bloody well track the items until AFTER they have been posted?GRRRR
