ive tried to get a cheaper tariff in the past from vodafone (been a cust for 2 years, had my 'profile' upgraded whatever that means.
i really want to save money and get the £25/month, 500 mins, unlimited texts offer which is for new customers only by the look of their website.
i am paying £35 i think for 200 mins and 500 texts and keep going over it, last month my bill was about £90.
has anyone had any success 'arguing' your way into getting a 'new customer' tariff? ta

If you're out of contract threaten to leave them and go to a new network to get a better offer!
If you look at other networks offers and pick one that suits you, qoute that as the reason for wanting to leave and see if they will match it.
You will only find out by calling and asking them.Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0 -
'out of contract'? what does that mean? i was with them for an 18 month contract, whicih expired in nov, then moved to 12 month contract from there. so i have it until november? going to call them soon.:A0

Out of contract means you have finished your contract - which you haven't as you are in contract til Nov.
I doubt they will do anything special for you, as you are still in contract. Call them and see what tariffs are on offer but don't expect anything like what a new customer would get unfortunately
