Also Len - I love the quote you've added! I love Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes! One of my favourite quotes when Gene said about someone being 'As nervous as a very short nun at a penguin shoot'!! Great stuff!

I would have thought given her age she would still be under the child team anyway?:rolleyes:boredofbeingathome wrote: »Cheers Jinky. Her previous team were great, it is the adult team that are the problem although she is still under the care of some of the childrens services. So i am asking for them to now continue her care.:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

boredofbeingathome wrote: »Thanks Skint and QB, it is not the time i had to wait but the lack of competency on her part. She hadn't done homework, tests thatshould have been there had been done in Jan, so not unreasonable to expect some feed back. It was also getting dd2's hopes up that after a lifetime of bowel problems, something was going to be done. She had promised us a fresh look at her problem, way back in December, so after her undergoing a series of very unpleasnat and intrusive tests for a 16 year old- I felt completely mortified on her behalf. DD2 has had a rubbish year after being diagnosed with diabetes as well, and was trying to explain to the consultant about diet related concerns as well-which were just rubbished by the consultant.
Yep - typical consultant alas. I think to be a consultant you have to pass the "Pomposity" module...

They *really* hate that...boredofbeingathome wrote: »The final conversation with her, was about-how if we wished to see her again, we would have to be referred over to Wythenshaw where she had got a new appt.-I don't think so! She was more concerned about that than our daughter, and i am not having her fobbed off on some other inept and starting all over again.

Going to ask a really silly question now - please don't hate me but.....Richard A...who?

Looks quite cute, but I have no idea who he is, lol!
He is absolutely gorgeous isn't he?! Richard Armitage plays Guy of Gisbourne in Robin Hood. He was also Dawn French's love interest in the last Vicar of Dibley in Christmas 2006. Prior to that he'd been in Cold Feet and Ultimate Farce. Apparently he is soon to be seen in the new series of Spooks as well!
So I'm sure that when Spooks and series 3 of Robin Hood come out in the Autumn, he'll be doing lots of interviews, so you're bound to see more of him!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

She, still is ....but she has quite a few medical problems and a different consultant for each one.LOL:eek: Her main consultant for her bowels (Hirschsprungs disease) was the one who referred her to this consultant, as they wanted further tests doing and a fresh look at the problem.IYKWIM. We will now go back to him, as we fell she will get a better service from his team. She is under a different consultant for diabetes, local, and again one for spine who is local. It is a quagmire.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
