Ok new to this comping lark so a bit of advice please. I understand that a sticky normally goes on the board with all the comps that are ending the next day. I also understand that the one for the 8th isnt up yet due to lack of clarity to who was doing(I think you all do brill anyway)
My question is this. Seeing today is the 7th is it worth me still applying to the comps ending the 7th or did they already close or is it normal if a comp states closes the 7th for it to close at midnight? I know for some web entry ones it might have a time on it, but not always for the email ones. Any info greatly appreciated.

Couldn't agree more!!
It can be quite bloody when peeps post the same comps that have just arrived by email from the newsletters we sign up to. Luckily most people are quite cool about it.From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

hi eaglesrjh,
most comp titles will say if the closing time is important, e.g. 10am, noon, 3pm. otherwise its midnight. Some comps trundle on beyond their declared end date. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

I have a list of websites that I post from and I know others do too so I tend not to post other peoples comps unless I'm on a google mission and the comp has been open a while. It depends on how you search as to whether you can tell that someone regularly posts from a certain site0
