MBNA used to be a stoozing must but in recent times have honed things back. With the removal of the SBT facility it's uses are diminshing totally.
Only good thing is Mr Smartsaver has a credit limit of 18.5k with them. They seem more swtiched on to stoozing than some other companies. Or at least more prepared to stick there necks out to put an end to it

Well I have to admit I was pretty naffed off with MBNA earlier in the year when I had a light bulb moment and realised I was paying interest at 24.9% with on one of their cards but that's my fault not theirs.
After I threw my dummy out of the pram and threatened to close my account they reduced it to 7.9% and offered me a pretty good rate on a BT as well.
Am also pleased I can ring them on an 0800 number ....can't think of any other financial institution that does that for existing customers.2014 Target;
