Free £25 Grand National bet

Quidco now saying they're only paying £30.

It's also been stated by some that you won't receive both take up offers, it'll either be the £25 free bet or the Quidco sign up offer as they can not be used together.

Boyfriend registered with his Switch/Maestro card about midnight - so it's a lucky dip on whether he gets the £50 or £30 from them but his hasn't tracked yet.
His ID has to be verified too, we have emailled with the attachment - however there is also another option in "My Account" then "MyProfile" where you can upload the ID required, so he's now done both - hopefully the upload one will be done quicker.
It's now been over an hour of it still requiring the ID - so I assume they are either in a backlog of removing this "option" as people have suggested it goes after about 15 mins or so - or they are doing checks on Maestro holders too.

Also his Quidco hasn't tracked either - he's not too impressed with the situation - after I boasted last night of being tracked straight away and having been able to withdraw my funds from Betfair this morning
Win some lose some - but I reckon it's more the inundated with new applications thats causing the delay.

Also thanks for the tip about my account etc i placed my bets roughly 23:20 and no more than 5 mins after placing £25 worth of bets quidco had tracked... however still no £25 from betfair yet and it been c2 and half hours

Think I may have made a schoolgirl error as I did it at 11 pm ish and am now not sure whether I'll get £30/£50.
Any ideas anyone?

Don't worry about your £25 not showing up yet, I was a bit worried, it took about 5/6 hours before it was paid in.

I wonder if Betfair are going to regret this :rotfl:

I am pressuming that those who used 'SP' for betting will not receive their £25 back until the race starts at least?

llalamb I am doubtful they will regret this as it's a great publicity thing for them, many people including myself have never even registered/looked at a betting/gambling website.

You should still get the £50. Quidco said it would change to £30 at mid-night.

I agree, but there will be a lot of people like myself who will withdraw their £25, plus the £50 quidco which is a huge bonus + potential winnings. Thats a lot of money. Some will probably not bother withdrawing their money and gamble it. People who have never gambled before will now take up gambling. I think Betfair will be making a loss though.
