Free £25 Grand National bet

Just to let everyone know. I've been asked for authorization of my age :A but it has allowed me to place my bets so I'm presuming you can bet but they won't payout until they have the correct ID.

mine said 'warning odds over 99' and i clicked anyway and it's fine. think it just means they can't quite believe you've backed such an outsider:rotfl:

There seemed to be an element of doubt as to whether you could combine both offers ie. the £25 free bet and the £50 cashback

It said in the Quidco blurb that to get the £50 cashback you only had to deposit and play £10 so that's what I did.

You need to deposit and wager at least £10 into your betfair account to get the £50 quidco. I didn't want to deposit £25

This thread is about the £25 free bet, which is what most of us are talking about.

Betting novice here, can any more experienced users help me?

If I want to put a bet on to "place" the horse, does that mean I only get money back if the horse finished 2nd, 3rd or 4th? Or would I get some money also if the horse actually won??
