the risk is that the Quidco wont track and you lose your bets - £10 out of pocket.

You can lock in a profit from the £10 free bet using matched betting techniques - theres a sticky on the GIOL board with lots more info.

hurrah it tracked £50!! i joined and palced my bet at roughly 8pm

Apologises if this has already been asked but just signed up to Betfair via Quidco, the £50 has ‘Tracked’ (result). Gone to the “National Quick Bet” option selected the Runners and the stake, clicked on the ‘Place Bet Now’ button. But it’s not done any thing. I’ve signed up by Credit Card so the age thing shouldn’t be a problem.

Any suggestions???

Hi,

I registered with betfair by going through the link from Quidco. Deposited £25 in my account and tried to place bets using the "Quick Bet" link.

When I clicked the place bets link it just froze. Did this again, after logging out and back in again.

It is still saying I have £27 in my BetFair account (£2 verifying age) and there are no records of the bets that I wanted to place.

Quidco has tracked the £50. Could it do this without me having placed any bets???

Before trying to bet again I wanted to check with you on MSE forums.

I've deposited £25 by debit card put in Martins code - wanted proof of age by paying £2 on credit card this wouldn't go through, so have now had to scan my driving licence & email it to them, now I'm getting fed up & wondering how long this will all take! with all this messing I hope it tracks.
All working fine re id, £50 has tracked with quidco & have ticked a few "nice names" as know nothing about horses or matched betting & need to get the kids to bed 2 hours ago!!!!!

I've read all the posts at least twice :eek:

But I'm still not sure if I've done this properly.

I placed my bets after clicking the link 16:15 4m4f
but after re-reading the posts think perhaps I shouldn't have done it this way?!

Under 'Current Bets' my bets are all showing as matched. So is everything ok?

Sorry if you're all getting fed up of us betting newbies but I really haven't got a clue Thanks for any advice

Am lost. Placed several small bets of £2.50 each and in MY ACCOUNT it shows the bets as UNMATCHED but if I go onto the main betting screen and go into MY BETS it says I have no unmatched bets. They are showing as MATCHED.

What is right. Dont want to find out after the race that they are not placed.

It's been doing this to me too. You need at least a £2 stake per bet then it should let you do it.

Yes - you have placed your bets correctly.
