I would wait until Wed/Thur prob - may just be a backlog? or call them?dc wrote:Is there any way you can Fax the proof of age. Good luck as they seem to have been overwhelmed with emails.
ive called them, cant fax them, just had another email from them apologizing for the delay
"Due to an unprecedented number of customer emails received over the last few days, our Helpdesk staff are currently working through a backlog. We would like to extend our apologies for any delay in our response to your email. At this time we will only reply to emails where the issue is still outstanding to ensure we can clear the backlog as soon as possible.Your patience is greatly appreciated.Kind regards

I opened an enquiry with Quidco today as my £50 from Friday wasn't tracked. I responded to a blog email from Quidco and clicked through to Betfair from that and they are now saying there is no trace of my going via Quidco so bad luck  Not a happy bunny!0

Woooooohoooooooo yippppeeeeeeee, im age verified!
received this email about 5 mins ago.
"Thank you for the documents you recently forwarded to Betfair to verify your age. We can confirm that they have been verified and approved, our records have been updated and your account has been age verified"
Next question..... do i withdraw all my funds or leave some money in, because ive read a few peoples posts saying they are better leaving some money in until they have had the quidco money paid.0 -
Leave a tenner in or something or make a silly bet with a couple of quid in a couple of weeks just to show them your account is active..
but saying that it did say on quidco that for joining and putting in £25 and then betting the whole £25 should entitle you to the cashback..0 -
Thanks to everyone for sharing their info and experiences on here. :money:
Someone quite a bit further up in the thread said you can't close your account with Betfair? Is that true? I'd like to close my account with them, would probably leave it until after Quidco pays out though (if it does, that is).
Nicky321: I left a fiver in my account, just in case. Woody123's right though, it doesn't say anywhere that you have to do that to qualify for the cashback, or the £25 back, but I don't trust them...!0 -
I just wanted to say my thanks to all for this wonderful tip.
Apart from being unable to access the Betfair site for ages (which was apparently due to some Virgin Media upgrade in the Belfast area), everything went smoothly!
I registered to Quidco on the Friday, used a Debit card to put my £25 on Betfair the day of the GN, placed my bets, got my money back even before the race started, won £40 on my bets, withdrew the money from Betfair last night no problem, and my £50 quidco has tracked!!!
I'm a happy bunny, and definitely an MSE convert! I have already recommended the site to all my friends.
Hurray for Martin and MSE! :T0 -
I have just opened an enquiry as I paid by Paypal and it isn't yet tracked. I have sent them the Paypal transaction ID. I would be interested to hear if anybody who paid by Paypal does get their money from Quidco.0

Well I'm not really a gambler but this one really paid off, we both had a go and both got £30 tracked on quidco, plus the winner came home so we did really well. Wouldn't have bothered if it weren't for MSE plus all the useful posts here. No probs withdrawing and both got £25 credit back from betfair. Will wait and see if quidco cough up too. It was all just too easy. Might even leave the £25 in betfair for another flutter...0

Both me and wife opened accounts with Betfair via different accounts on Quidco but neither of us have had our original stakes credited. Neither of us actually bet on the Grand National but bet on the footie instead and both won as it happens but can anyone tell me if it had to be a bet on the GN that triggered your original stake being returned? From what I remember on the advert it just said join up and place a bet but didnt not see anything about it being specifically on the GN. Both our Quidco accounts are tracking btw. Appreciate feedback please.0

Unfortunately it did state your bet HAD to be on the national to get your money back, but luckily you won on the footie so not too bad. if you've won over £25 maybe you're better off than you would have been betting on the national. None of my bets won!I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0
