I lost, but no worries I got my £25 back.

The only thing is now I got a phone call from betfair today. I told them I was at work so it wasn't convenient. I hope they're not going to try and hassle me for weeks on end. Still at least I saw their caller ID and will probably ignore calls from this number.

    They'll give up eventually.

Yes here. My boyfriend is still waiting for his £25.
I'd be quite angry if he didnt get it.

I can hardly believe what has gone on.
I registered with Betfair on Friday and deposited £12.00
and bet it on the two horses I drew in the works sweep.
    The £50 tracked almost immediately.
I re-read the thread and decided that I had not bet the £25.00 so I deposited a further £14 and put that on the GN as well, a few horses at about £3 e/w.
I managed to get 2nd, 3rd & 4th in the race and so I won over £40 and so I
took out about £57 after comission
    I won £6 from work.
I've just gone back into Betfair and there is the £25 in my betfair wallet!
I've just taken that out too.
So I've withrawn £83.19 from Betfair for a £26.00 stake and I've got the £50 quidco to come!
And I only bet once a year

For those who are wondering where their £25 is, one thing I notice is it always seems to come out of your bank account quicker than it comes in. I've noticed this with others.

As long as it shows as withdrawn on your betfair account it should reach your account within 3 banking days. So effectively you should see it in by Wednesday I'd have thought.

    I dont believe it.

After uploading 3 lots of proof of age documents, emailing them to betfair 3 times, one phone call this morning to betfair and I have just received this email.

    "
To comply with regulations we are required to confirm your age. Unfortunately we have not been able to confirm your age and your account has been scheduled for suspension. "

has anybody else encountered the same problem?
At the moment there is £77.07 in my account made up from the £25.00 refund and winnings, and I cannot withdraw anything until my age is verified!

What more can I do? I do not hold a Credit card so that option isnt available to me.
  • I'd like to thank ML for making my weekend. If it wasn't for his newsletter i would never have used the free national bet. From a great tip off my grandfather i won £300 (thanks Comply or Die).

I also used the £10 casino risk free bet and double this to £20 on betfair. I've now completed the betfair challange and will be recieving another £10, as well as this i have £30 from quidco ( shame i missed out on the £50).

I also won £5 from a dodgy itbox and found £3 the other day.
I put the lottery on, on sat and yet to check my tickets.

Thanks ML and my GrandFather who i will be buying a pint. I hope everyone else has had the luck i have had.

I would wait until Wed/Thur prob - may just be a backlog? or call them?

Is there any way you can Fax the proof of age. Good luck as they seem to have been overwhelmed with emails.
