Betfair Customer Services 05 Apr 18:24 spacer.gif Settlement of Grand National win market

The reconciliation of the Betfair SP for the Grand National win market resulted in prices which we believe were significantly unfair for backers of some horses, most obviously the winner. Therefore we unreconciled the Betfair SP to return what we believe were fair prices.
As a result of unreconciling bets after the race, some matched bets (which would have been winning bets for customers) became unmatched bets. In addition, some customers may have traded in-play based on bets they believed had been matched.

If you believe that you have been disadvantaged as a result of this, please contact us at bets@betfair.com. We will look at our records to determine the amount you should be due and provide compensation accordingly. Please be aware that this may take some time and it is unlikely that we will be able to address all enquiries until next week.

  • Hi guys, first time here...

Thanks to this I managed to win £53.50 on the national with betfair and their £25 free bets. £5 at 11-1 on Comply or Die! Thank you!!!

In return for this, I thought I would let you know on this little extra that appears to be a good deal too - also on Betfair a new user can get £10 free money in their casino.

You transfer £10 from your betfair account to your casino account (click the casino tab, then hit transfer in the top right box where it has your accout summary), place £10 worth of stakes, then within 48 hours Betfair will refund £10 into your casino, essentially giving you £10 worth of free gambling.

This offer appears to end tomorrow at midnight. I have read the T&C but am still a little afraid in doing this. Has anyone else tried this offer out yet?

The link to the offer is here: http://casino.betfair.com/?l=news&c=news
    Thanks again everyone!

they normally take up to 24 hours, but because it's been very busy they may take longer.

they won't run away with your money, don't worry. you will be paid out and be able to withdraw your winnings.

I had £9 of the free £25 on Comply or die and won just under £100. :T It's already been credited to my account and I've withdrawn it back to my current account.

Cheers for the heads up with this, superb stuff.
