Quoting someone and then changing what they've said in their quote isn't common on forums & I speak as someone who's mod/administrated them since 96
Did I say forums? Or did I say this forum?Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

Oh so you are saying people on this forum don't mind people quoting them and then having what they've said changed and things added  You know what I don't give a flying hoot anyway you just can't stay on topic. You have to be one of the biggest trolls I've come across. We get one thing sorted and you start with something else. It's clear something is very wrong with the moderating on this forum.
If anyone else wishes to discuss the BBC TV Licence please do so but you'll have to get used to the attempts by three people to get the thread closed0 -
Oh so you are saying people on this forum don't mind people quoting them and then having what they've said changed and things added  It depends what you mean. If you're talking about answering a question, like this - then it's perfectly common and done all the time. Most people change the colour to make it clear. I personally don't like doing it, because it makes it harder to quote and is a little confusing, but it's not seen as poor etiquette here, at any rate.

It's clear something is very wrong with the moderating on this forum. Few other people seem to have trouble with it. The problem was that you were simply belligerant from the word go. You're the troll and you know it.

It isn't common to answer someone in their quote and this is why forums don't include your messege, you've put your answer in they're quote DUH.
Now tell me Troll how does it feel knowing that the majority of people in this country don't want to contribute towards your favorite show Teletubbies ?0 -

I said I didn't like it, so I don't usually do it myself.
However it is common on this forum.
But I've told you enough times regarding the licence fee. I don't care. I think it provides me value for money so I would support it continuing. Why would I want it abolished?Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

And I've told you that's fine everyone is entitled to an opinion but it's still interesting to see the I'm alright Jack attitude from those who like the fee0 -
i wonder if we can claim back unlawful charges from the enforced subscription of the bbc tv license??
after all...i choose not to subscribe to sky tv but if i want a tv or radio in my home i have to pay the bbc!!
come on martin...we're right behind u, lol!
:money:0 -
Clearly the extreme left have run out of ideas for pretending the bbc is a benefit for everyone. So now we've had pages of 1970's-style ranting against capitalism. What fun.
We must all pay for their bbc because they can't be bothered not to shop in the places that provide them with lower prices. So much more inventive then explaining why everyone has to pay for something most people do not want to pay for and would rather do without. Whatever happens we must ensure those horrid proles don't get to make their own choices - no knowing where it might end, public-sector junkies might have to get proper jobs.
Any bets on how many times leftoids will say they are not going to post here any more and then come back for another go?0 -

Sorry?
Lower price does not necessarily mean best value. You can try and portray this as a capitalist rant all you like, but in practice I simply consider one issue:
Do I think the TV Licence fee represents good value for money for me?
... and answered yes.
There's nothing 'left' or 'right' wing about it.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

..... as opposed to the myopic right-wing rants that have also filled the previous few pages
btw - just so as we're clear. I haven't said I wouldn't post, I said that I wouldn't reply to [STRIKE]deviant[/STRIKE] defiant anymore:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0
