Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. This company is the worst. I was given their details by my bank as a reason for reducing my credit card limit. I went on the website & paid £2.00 with my debit card to see my credit rating immediately & found that I had to log in but my details were not recognised. I called them on 0113244155 where I got put through to customer services & talked to a guy called Legion who said it would take 24hrs for me to get logged in again & that my bank should be able to let me know why my limit had been reduced. Why did I pay £2.00 for nothing & why do the banks use such awful companies!0

Like with many things I wish I had read this thread first.
Joined up for the 30 day trial, actually got a pin number through in the post but the went to use it and the account had been suspended due to not recognising my email address.
Many emails later, which was taking them at least a week to answer I got access to my account. So checked my report and nothing really on there 'no iva details or creditors' after 4 days of the account being active I got billed £12.
Surely this credit reports site is a con, sent emails to them about being recredited as I've not as it says on their website 'See your credit report free for 30 days'.

I've had the same major problems as reported on this forum with Call Credit. I already subscribe to Experian, after being refused a mortgage application for no apparent reason I contacted the mortgage company who advised they use Call Credit Check. When I subscribed I found they had a credit card as defaulted since 2006 when if fact it was paid and cancelled. Luckily the underwriters at the mortgage company accepted my Experian and Equifax reports (again subscribed too) and gave me the mortgage. I still don't know whether Call Credit have this incorrect information on file either as I still can't access my file online.
I've attempted to e-mail them 3 times regarding this but no reply. I cannot access the website as it says my details are incorrect and to expect an e-mail with new login details, again no e-mail.
I've just used the telephone number posted on this site and its unobtainable.
Who do we go to in this circumstance, is there a regulatory body?? Call Credit are taking a monthly fee out of my account and I can't contact them to cease either!!:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

CallCredit is reporting incorrect information on a closed credit card account of mine which has dropped my credit score by 200 points and led to me losing low interest rates on two credit cards. The CallCredit report (which I got via checkmyfile) contradicts itself - how could I be 6 months in arrears on an account with a £0 balance that was closed some 3-4 years ago.
Experian and Equifax have the correct information.
This has cost me money and CallCredit should be liable. Screwing up someones credit report should not be taken lightly.
Why are companies basing lending decisions on a company known to report incorrect information?0
