If it's your own personal stuff you're selling, you don't have to declare it. But if you go buy stuff to sell at a profit, you do as that is being a business.0 -

No problem in that case. You didn't give us a lot of information to go on so I had to put in some assumptions.

yes very true, sorry. My head is such a muddle this week, I should have gone away and thought it through properly, then posted more fully. I registered with the tax people because I wanted to be honest and legal, but it's got more complicated now we are on benefits. I think its time to give up ebay, isnt worth the worry. Many thanks to all who posted x 0
