Hi

Just got the above phone today - need to take the SIM out and can't get the battery cover off!!

The manual says "remove the battery cover by sliding the battery release latch down" but I can't see one. Cany anyone tell me where it is or how to get the cover off. I'm sure it is really simple but it is stumping me at the mo!

Thanks.
There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.

  • If by battery release latch they mean, tiny plastic lugs that look like they could melt on the inside of the battery cover then I think they exist.

It's not easy to get the battery cover off, you need to push down on it quite hard, and slide it towards the end of the phone that is curved. It's might look and feel like it's going to break, it might, but it's the only way I have found to get the battery cover off. I wish they weren't so flimsy :/
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.
