Not sure what to do regarding Shares ISA

I do have some money that I can put into an Investment ISA but I am not sure about what to do.
Last year I put £3000 into a Standard Life Shares ISA. Is it a good idea to add to that one or should I do something else? I am putting £3600 into a Cash Isa but wonder if the Shares bit may be better off in a 'normal' savings account at the moment.
(Sorry . . . . easily confused!!!!!!!)
