Go for it hun... show them the error of their ways!!!
To be honest I only ever use my amazon card for purchases on amazon and clear the balance when ever it has been used, so not really a problem to me..
I have got to that stage where I use different cards for different things so it only really gets used for birthdays and xmas.0 -
Well, I'm glad it's not just me waiting for my gift voucher, after banking 1500 points! They need to tighten up on this as I'm sure they are breaking their T & C's. 8 weeks now I've been waiting for my £15 gift certificate.......the first time I had to wait 6 weeks........not good.DFW Nerd Number 592 :hello:

Well it seems to have corrected itself, two transactions from a funny company name that cancel each other out and a third one this time from Amazon

it has effected several companies, including amazon, weightwatchers, aol and a few others, basically the payment gateway had the wrong name on the payments so most companies are refunding back and then re-charging in the correct name., i had this happen with my weight watchers subscriptionMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -

Don't know about refunds but did have a problem a couple of wekks ago where they took payment twice. When I phoned them they said that they were aware of the problem and that the money would be credited back to my card within 14 days. I said that would not be good enough and they said that, due to the problem they could not refund me before then but as compensation they would give me the item free of charge.Couldn't really complain about that £139 parrot bluetooth car kit for free and good as their word the money was back on my card within 14 days.
Must confess, never had bad service from Amazon0 -
I'm glad to hear it's not just me waiting for Amazon Vouchers from their loyalty points scheme on their Halifax Credit Card. They cashed in my points on the 10th March and I'm still waiting.
I have now emailed them 3 times. To be fair, their customer service people do reply pretty quickly but I've been promised the voucher within the week twice now and it hasn't happened so I've said I will take it to the local office of fair trading if they don't sort it this week (unless anyone else has any other good tips about how to get them to get their act together).
I've also rang the Halifax twice. The first time. when i took the option of enquiring about loyalty points etc., the recorded announcement quickly told me the url on the amazon website to go email them - not very impressed. Today I spoke to human being (I deliberately rang a different halifax number) who was very nice but couldn't do anything ('if they say it's in the post (!), we can't do anything') -basically, i get the impression the Halifax aren't very bothered....
