Cost of replacing a bathroom suite.

What a headache looking to buy the suite, being around the usual DIY shops? To my horror I notice the cistern body has only one hole and I need one with two holes as it has to be connected to the right and left pipe. It is a closed couple toilet. Ask the chap at B&Q, he told me the modern toilet comes with only one hole. Any idea anybody what can I do? Do not want to buy the wrong one, also the one I think might be suitable, the toilet seat is in mahogany but I think you can change it to white. Also do I understand you can mix and match with the bath. Thanks0

The plumber should modify the pipework to match the toilet, don't worry about that part. The likely reason you have 2 holes on the existing cistern is that one of them is for the overflow. These days the overflow is "built in" to the syphon so you don't need separate overflow pipework.A house isn't a home without a cat.

I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

I was thinking exactly that!
DO NOT go near this guy, no matter how cheap he is.
For gas always use a Corgi registered installer and for electrics always use an electrician registered with an appropriate scheme (NICEIC, ECA, etc.)0 -
I'm looking to replace my bathroom. Had someone out the other night from a bathroom design company. Said that the average bathroom costs £8,000 to refurbish (including suite, tiles, flooring). Reading the other posts, I think I am being done!!0
