Egg ISA help... please...

Hi! Another ISA question sorry...

I have a Egg ISA for the current year which has been randomly filled throughout the tax year and I now have £2998.00 in it. I want to add the last £2 in before the tax year is up but it is only letting me transfer £1.99 and not £2. I have not taken any money out of it this year and it says I still have £2 of my allowance left.

I thought the limit was £3000... as in I can add a full £3000 not just £2999.99  I know its only 1p but its really bugging me :o :wall: . Am I missing something?

Thanks!

I have an Egg ISA too, but don't understand why it's doing what you say.

I can only suggest sending them a secure message online. I find they usually reply within 24 hours.

Thanks! Oh well... have tried the secure message online asking this and another question the other day but they only answered the other one not this. I've messaged them back about the above about 2 hrs ago. I just wanted to check I wasn't imagining it :rotfl: Its the 1st time ever I will have managed to completely fill an ISA in a tax year and I want to actually fill it!! :p

They most probably have a rounding error in their calculations, they will get back to you eventaully but it it comes to friday and nothing has happened you may as well just put £1.99 in a be 1p less off.

I just topped up my ISA to £3000.00, haven't had any problems.
