Ciao survey crowd now taking the complete p***?

I completely agree with you.
I joined and was always given 10p surveys, occasionally £1 if I was luck and sometimes was given nothing! One survey lasted about 40 minutes and I got a whopping thank you!! I left a comment at the end saying I was disgusted and quickly cancelled my membership.
I use Lightspeed who are good and YouGov who are fantastic! They actually give you cash (50p-75p per survey) :beer:0 -
I also ditched Ciao after they introduced the new next-to-worthless surveys! I'm not prepared to be paid 10p for 30 minutes of my time, thank you very much! The surveys are incredibly tedious and then you suffer the indignity of being told you don't qualify for the measly amounts anyway!
I only tend to use survey sites that still pay a token amount even if you are screened out. Global Test Market are a good alternative. They send lots of surveys on a daily basis so even though I get screened out of the majority, you still reach payout levels quite quickly. :cool:0 -
I never get my money from them, and get frozen out of all the $1 upwards ones. Been with them for years and not worth the bother any more.0

I'm fed up with spending what seems like ages doing a survey only to be told "you don't qualify". I'm asking for my money and leaving....In spite of the cost of living, it’s still popular :eek:0

I've just done a £5.00 survey for Its Your View which took less then 20 minutes.
I then got an e-mail from Ciao inviting me to a survey that would take '20 minutes' - I looked on the information about payment - it wasnt even paying 10p!
All it said was that if you complete the survey then, you will have a greater chance of being invited to surveys in the future. I bet anything that I would have qualified for this survey as they weren't paying ought!! :rolleyes:0 -
Had another survey from Ciao today. £5.00 for '15 minutes'. I thought this is too good to be true. And sure enough, as soon as I clicked on the link it said I hadnt qualified and was entered into the legendary sweepstakes! I did not even get asked a single question and I didnt qualify so why send the thing. I also clicked on the link about a mimute after I received the e-mail so it wasnt like I was 'too late' to enter
Is this happening to anyone else.0 -

I've got £7 in my account but can't request payment - they're not even letting me enter my bank details. Tried clicking the link but instead get asked for a bank account password
Anyone else having trouble getting paid by them?"And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -

The same happened to me and I have e-mailed them asking what is meant by Bank acccount password, no reply as yet. As I have £24 I will let you know if I hear anything!Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I've just gone into this and wondered the same - but I just re-input my Caio password and it accepted that.
Think it must just be a security measure to make sure it's you before you input / access bank details from their site.
Everything everyone's said on here applies to me - sick of getting screened out for 25p surveys !
Have gone on through the link shown above, input my bank details (didn't realise I hadn't put them in yet !! LOL) and requested the balance (£26 or so - taken a year or two to build up tho' - mostly from ages ago !).
The only reason I'd hung on in with them was because I knew I had a balance of sorts in there - once that comes through I'm sooooo gone !
Thaks for everyone's posts on here - helped me decide and shift myself !0
