Thanks guys n gals, after reading this I won't be joining up with them.
I've just joined up with Online Opinions but have only done 3 surveys so far each at £1 and they weren't very long either! Have to do 47 more before I get a cheque for £50. I hope they pay out after all that!
Poo
they sound like the best one for a long time
£1 for short surveys is good
could i have a link for online opinions please im not with them and cant find themI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
I don't waste my time with Ciao anymore. I found that I was giving them alot of information & then I didn't qualify for payment.
A total waste of time.
I gave up on them a while ago. I know they do send some worth it surveys, but they also send cr*p.
Just had an email for a survey, should take 15 minutes and I'll be paid 10p if I complete it. Normally I just delete them, but this time I replied saying I can get 10p for just 15 seconds on OnePoll, and I won't get screened out two thirds of the way through the survey.
I don't know about anyone else, but the thing that stops me doing surveys is getting screened out 10 minutes into the questions.0 -

this is the best survey site i have come across, been paid £2 for some.
Thanks, I'll give that a try.
Pine---- is the best site I have joined, they pay up very quickly, £4 per survey and they send me lots of things to test.
So far this year I have saved £48 worth of vouchers for xmas.
Last xmas the girl in Somerfield said "You are only supposed to exchange these for a bona fide lunch" I replied "24 cans of lager is my lunch" and she said "oh, OK"0 -

i had another cracker from ciao today
complete this survey for 0.10
it should take 25 mins
no it wont im not doing it
also opinion world are getting on my nerves
i used to do all the ones that you get rewarded by giving to charity etc
but now i dont get any that pay
and yeah it gets on our nerves getting screened out
the worst is when youve been doing it for 15mins or so then get told to get lost:mad:I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0 -
I used to write reviews for Ciao until recently. Following poor comms from them, I quit my account. And guess what they did? Stole my £60 earnings. I had already requested a payment in March but funnily enough I never got it and they now won't reply to my emails (not that they often did in the first instance).
I'm truly disgusted with their appalling conduct and will never write for them or fill in one of their poxy surveys ever again.0 -

A yes
sorry you do not qualify for this survey!!
why not because i was readinmg my own emails?!!. lol
Had to laugh i get these from them too.
They send you the bloody survey and then tell you you dont qualify for it0 -
2 years and I made about £12 so I just delete them now too. I also get the ones that ask my name and then chuck me out. I find i point onepoll toluna and juicy brains the best. I especially like juicy brains as they give me 25p when I am scrreened out. And it doesn't take 20 questions first, unlike ciaoAnyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

This may just be me, but....I too was getting nothing but the 5p for 25 minutes of your time type surveys, which is why I stopped doing them. Then, about a month ago, having some time off work, I decided to write a couple of reviews (which I do now and again), ever since then, the surveys have been coming through at £0.51, £3, and £5. So maybe now they pay you in relation to site activity? I may be totally wrong, but that's what happened to me.0

Yeah I delete the Ciao! emails now. They are getting the answers for nothing...being chucked out of the survey after answering practically all the q's is a complete con and a waste of my valuable time.0

What an absolute liberty! (non-sweary Catherine Tate)
I can't believe I signed up to them.
These companies make hundreds of thousands of pounds for research. Why can't they share it more generously?
I just emailed them and told them to cancel my account.
That's like an hours work for 30pence.
I don't mind doing research if it pays 1-3 pounds for a few minutes work - and I've got the time.
OK rant over. - and relax!:o0
