I'm getting a bit of stick from the ex girlfriend on my mobile. I'm on an O2 contract, can anyone advise how I go about changing my number and is there any cost involved??

ring O2, ask O2 how you can change your number and how much it costs. Then take it from there.

Well thats what I'm going to do but before ringing I just wanted to know if anyone knew if there was a cost involved and how much as I really can't afford any extra expense at the minute.

They may do it free of charge If you explain what is going on. Usually its changed for free if you have a crime ref no. Just tell your ex if she carries on txting your reporting her to the police for harrasment.Goodluck

Why does your GF care about your number? The only relevance would be if she has free calls to same-network mobiles, it which case you have to be on the same network as her, the actual number involved is of no consequence. Porting (transferring) numbers are free, but it can open up a minefield of confusion as customers can never tell what network they are calling by the number itself, only when the bill has been received after-the- event.

I'm a bit confused by that. I'm asking how I change my mobile number as my ex girlfriend won't stop getting in touch with me. What relevance does that have to anything you typed??
