How to copy data from my SIM?

I am moving from Virgin to O2, I am keeping my current handset. How do I know what is on my SIM card? Is it just contacts, as they are easy to copy? Or would it include pictures/videos etc?

Thanks

Replace your existing sim with your new one.

Have your pictures/videos etc disappeared? Then they are on your old sim.

If your pictures/videos etc are still available, they are not on your old sim.

    Simple innit :D

Not quite so simple when I have lots of pics/vids and I remove my sim and still have lots of pics and messages.

How do I know if any are stored on my sim, may only be a few?

It's very unlikely that Videos or Pictures will be stored on a SIM card, the memory on them is very small.
However, it might help if we knew what handset you have ?
