I'm looking for a hotel for the 22nd June - 27th June (5 nights). Need a twin room, preferably walking distance from Bedford Row (this is near Gray's Inn Field), cheapest price possible wanted. So far all I have found is the Covent Garden Travelodge for £105.00 per night not inc breakfast or dinner. If anyone can find let me know of anything cheaper I'd appreciate it.

Try priceline, but start low and go up.. I managed to get a 4* Hilton for under £70 last summer. Keep in mind that I dont think you can cancel if bought from priceline.0

Try laterooms.com, you can search by postcode within London.
There have been lots of threads recently regarding finding cheap hotel rooms in London, if you do a search it should give you lots of info about other companies you can try.0 -

You could investigate student accommodation as there should be some availability by then.0

Yeah, I've just had another look. Narrowed it down to Holborn though as I'll be doing a mini-pupillage at a chambers on Bedford Row so it needs to be within walking distance. The ones I can find there that are cheaper are the Gresham Hotel and Grenville House, both of which have rather poor average ratings. The former has far too many bad reviews relating to the cleanliness for me to risk it.barriejohn69 wrote: »did you try www.booking.com ? If I wanted a double then I could find more that are cheaper but I want a twin with an ensuite. Travelodge costs £29 for the 1st night with the remaining 4 at £105 per night with an extra £6.50 each for breakfast so that's a total of £514.0 -
If that is the Gresham near Paddington station then avoid it like the plague. Stayed there 18 months back and it is a hell holeI would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0

The generator Hostel? It's 20 mins walk from bedford row.
I only stayed there once, years ago but it was fine.
Don't know how much discomfort/noise you're willing to take.
They do private twin rooms, not sure if they're en-suite but you could ring and ask.
Their website seems to say it's £20 per person per night, and that they have availability.

Other than that, look further out, Holborn is very central and has great tube links.0
