My current pot of gold is with NR at 6.9%.
    So £500 @ 6.9% = 34.50
    PO £500 @ 5.5% = 27.50 + Cashback Kings 15.50 = £43.00

Presumably you can open with £500, add nothing more to it as the
account is a lower rate than with NR and once you have the CK £15.50 in your account, you close the PO account, with no penalties. Anything wrong with my assumptions?

    Thanks for this info.

Also we won't need to pay tax on the money from quidco so definately better. I'll get DH to open one too.;)

I opened mine today and it has tracked already and validated (just opened a Barclays ISA Haven also)

0.31% less interest works out at a measley £1.50 a year! (i have monthly interest in to a seperate account for my ISA)

The £15.50 works out to having an extra £250 in the account.

    Got to love cashback :D
