I'm only on page 5 of this week's thread, so I have no idea what is going on...!

Day off today - well, actually, I'm on holiday, as I'm not booked for tomorrow, just as well as it's the last day of term, so I shall be needed for taxi service, and it's the day before DD leaves for India, so things to do...

I have done some flying today, catching up, all the ground floor, and a heap of washing. I'll do upstairs tomorrow. I also had time to have coffee in the garden with a friend who has just come back from Japan - first time it's been warm enough to sit out. I also did some gardening on the allotment in the afternoon. Just wish the forecast was for more warm sunny days!

Hugs to all who need one, off to read a few more pages.

    Hi everyone

Tia glad i'm not the only one who gets these annoying emails. LOL I changed by email address once because I was getting so many. I did get a few last week, hope they aren't starting again. Takes ages to go through and delete them sometimes.

Michelle how do you make your own wedges, if you don't mind me asking. I only recently tried shop bought, are they easy to make yourself?

I have listed 23 items on ebay, mostly books, games & puzzles etc. Don't usually have much luck, but fingers crossed.

    Kitchen s&s
Living Room and Conservatory - dusted etc & hoovered.

Been to town again today, Boys had follow up dentist appointments, DS1 small filling, DS2 fissure sealant.

Managed to get pressie that I was after on Tues, DS1 for guitar friend,
bought picks and pick holder and Guitar badge. One less thing to worry about for next week.

I peel the spud, chop in half, and then chop each half into long wedges.

While i am peeling and chopping, i put some oil in a oven dish, and preheat (gas mark 5ish) i then put the wedges in the oil.

I usually add herbs/spices depending on what i have. Tonight i did turmeric and coriander. usually it is paprika, sometimes chilli powder. I just sprinkle this over the wedges.

Turn regularly while cooking, cook for about 40 minutes ish.

Sometimes i parboil them if i want to use less oil or reduce the cooking time.

hope that helps. Mine tonight were very tasty. Yum!

Speaking of facebook, i just found 2 of my old housemates from 10 years ago, and one of them had some photos from those days on there, and i am sat here laughing my head off. So much for an early night.

    Michelle, x

Thanks Michelle, will keep this in mind for when we next have Pizza, DS1 has asked me to make my own pizza next time, he'd had home made at a friends and says he's sure mine will be nicer. My boys are so sweet and know all the right things to say to get what they want. LOL

Quick hi from me. Not Flying or reading or posting (apart from this of course) as I'm in the thick of it at work still with no end in sight. Hope everyone is doing well and doing good things? I was just thinking of you all as there seems to have been a Flylady Facebook Flurry (ta for the friend suggestion PinkFairy!) today..

Hope to be in next week, I'm taking Monday off come hell or high water.
