That took me longer than expected. I sent DD round to my neighbour who works in a charity shop. I have a pile of stuff and I keep missing her. So we stood and gassed for ages while I hung the first lot of washing out. Thats one more job done.
Johanne - I think AnWsMum's suggestion is an excellent one. Hope today is better for you.
Hugs to all the poorlies xx
Michelle - I get exhausted just reading your lists!
Right, finish drinking coffee and then get dressed and go shoe shopping!!0 -
I'll join you Michelle - all 4 kids are playing outside at the moment so hopefully I'll be able to get something done!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

It has taken me all this time to get the kids cricket and football schedules for the next term written on my calendar - can't contemplate putting it on my computer. Thank god for emails. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Morning all
Wednesday is bedroom day for me. I've stripped and remade the bed, done two loads of washing and hung it out (it's very dull so I don't know if it will dry), dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms and the landing and bathroom/toilet floors.
I was hoping to get away without vacuuming downstairs today but the cats have been tag wrestling so there was fur everywhere. Dusted living room and vacuumed through downstairs.
Took the dog out for a little walk and with that and her "helping" me with the vacuuming (she hates the vacuum but apparently has to follow me round the house when I'm doing it), she's now exhausted and is sleeping soundly!
Now waiting for two parcels to arrive, one will probably be with normal post the other a courier.
Hate waiting.0 -

The Norfolk coast is the area that DS1 studied.[ We lived in Norwich at the time] He had to look at the size and amount of pebbles on different parts of the coast line. He studied it in the autumn and then the spring. I remember being with him on a windy beach and some of his papers that he'd used to record results blew away and I had to stop him climbing the crumbling cliffs to retrieve them
In the end the task was almost impossible so we ended up making up the results after measuring a few pebbles and working out what the likely results would be. By the way he got an A grade.
Where on the Norfolk coast is your son going? We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0 -
A quick good morning from me. Been a bit of a hectic one. Didn't sleep well as my bruise kept waking me up. I think I might have to try and catch up with a snooze today, before I strip the bed? DP still in bed, made him an appointment with the GP later as his skins getting worse and he's not sleeping because of it. Bedroom day here too but going to do the living room aswell (because if I keep doing it it will stay nice? well that's the theory anyway!) Kitchens been S&S'd and there is a washer load on the line, forecast for rain here by Friday, again, so going to get what I can washed.
Hugs for those who need one. Hex hope your DS has a good birthday regardless. One day I might be more organised...........

HHC - 10-10:30 if anyone would like to join me - energy high but motivation a bit pants. Will actually start now by hanging out that washing. (line cleaned, towels out on line, cleaned cat box and put in garage, rescued load of tea towels and bibs from TD, now folded and away, cleaned filter in TD, hung up load of white baby vests on airer upstairs, sorted out 2 loads of dh's washing and got one load in WM and on, cuppa made)
I will be drinking my cuppa and then i think i will start a 2nd more physical HC, which will involve a hoover and at least the whole of the downstairs of the house. Also need to do the fridge, and find the hairdryer to defrost the freezer, as it is essential that i go shopping today as we have very little in after being away and not shopping properly last week, just me grabbing bits - which i have to say was not cost effective as i was tempted by far too much rubbish and baby clothes. 11-12 anyone?
Michelle, x[/quote]0 -
I'll join you in an 11-12 challenge, Michelle. I need to get loads done.We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

I've fed the dogs, emptied TD & WM, reloaded WM & TD, prepared fruit for the kids to have a snack so all sitting eating now.
Michelle - I'll join you again 11-12 because I've got a load to do.
