thanks so much, £30 would be so much better,
heinz - do i just ring that number and quote the 35/08 offer?
can this be done online or would i defo have to ring?

edit: another thing i was wondering is, how reliable is bt? im with virgin at the minute and all the time the internet goes off, (just got a new box, still no better) the telephone goes off, cant make calls - drives us mad! lol.

i dont think it matters what service or provider you use. you will always get those who have horror stories, with certain companies, and those who dont. Imho, as an average, BT will provide you a more stable connection/line than the rest.

BT Openreach do the work to conect the line for which ever CP you use
