On http://www.djinnsplace.co.uk/tvout.html you can see some pictures of what you can do. The bottom picture is what you want on the scart converter - get a switchable one for convenience (Asda sell them) the next one up shows a Phono to Jack plug lead. The phono plugs give the stereo signal to the Jack plug, that plugs into the stereo - you may need a converter to a bigger jack size. Leads and converter can be bought in maplin.

OK... according to Humax this is what the back of your TV looks like.
I think you could connect a 3.5 mm to 3.5mm stereo connector like this L29BA, L30BA etc. from Maplin
    http://www.maplin.co.uk/search.aspx?MenuNo=13577&MenuName=Connect!+-+3.5mm&worldid=2&FromMenu=y&doy=31m3

between the H/P (headphone out) connector on the TV and the "3.5 mm AUX IN" on the Creative (it's meant as a means of connecting an MP3 player if you wanted to).

    OK ....
Digging a little deaper on the Maplin site ...this

should definitely work. Connect as I said above & you will get the sound from the TV through the HiFi. Because you are using the HP out the normal TV speakers should also be muted.
If you can't get to Maplin then you should be able to pick one up in (say) a Car Radio or HiFi shop. This type of cable is used in cars to connect an MP3 player to the AUX IN on a car radio.
