How to wire new tv to stereo

I am hoping that there is someone out there to help me with this. I have a Creative SoundWorks® Radio CD - Model 740 stereo under a Humax LGB-19DTT : Read reviews and compare prices at Ciao.co.uk
The sound on the TV isn't great. I wondered if there is a lead to connect the two together? Where would I get it and how do I connect it if it is possible?
Thanks ahead of time!

i would imagine to connect the two together you could use a 3.5 mm stereo minijack male - male lead from the tv audio out, to the stereo aux in piece.

    this is a cheap fix..

what you need i think is an 'Av decoder' etc

You need to check if the Creative 740 has an AUX in connection (usually 2 sockets marked AUX L & AUX R). If so then you also need to check if TV has STEREO out ( L & R). Either physically check both or consult the manuals.
If All is OK then get two coaxial audio cables & connect TV to Creative, select AUX INPUT on the Creative & TV sound should be relayed via Creative.

If you've got a spare scart output you need a switchable scart converter, it has audio and video in/out - cable between and the audio will be available via aux in
The same applies if you have Audio out socket on the TV wire between both and youll get the aduo out via the AUX channel on the stereo.

Is it the ones under AUX IN 3.5 mm and AUX f 3.5?
If anyone knows which lead/leads I need and has a second to post a link to them, I'd be eternally grateful!

Something like this one here will do the job, but you might need a 3.5mm extension lead like this to connect to your stereo.
Dont know anything about the shop, but I hope the pictures help.

The TV does have a scart cable on the back of it, so it look like that may work. Is that the best way?
