07744 Charges on 3 Network

I have been charged for making international calls using an 07744 access number on my 3 mobile,which includes 500 xnet minutes.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and if they managed to get a refund or not?

Any advise on how to get my money back will be much appreciated, as I am a student and don't have a clue how I'm going to pay for my next bill!

I've had a look at that thread, but can't seem to find any info on how to get my money back with 3!!!!!!!!!!..........I really am desperate here, so plz help!

i believe you will need to write a letter of complaint as why you have been charged as it appears as a mobile number on the ofcom website. You will need to be careful as 3 has always charged for this number i believe.

If your plea to 3 cs does not work ,then i dont think that there are any any other avenues open to you.The Simply-Fone site clearly states that calls from 3 are chargeable.

I dont know what countries you ring but the https://www.pre-dial.com (See free destination List) Orange access no 07976 827 878 can be used out of your 3 inclusive cross network minutes to access certain Intl destinations.

Hi I've just had a look at that site. However, Barbados is not listed..............Please let me know if you know of any cheap ways to call there using my o2 or 3 minutes. Note I only call these places during the evenings and on weekends and not during the daytime.
