Els got a good point there, I would say that I am 75% happy and 25% miserable and unhappy with certain issues, but that 25% can seem like 100% when you dwell on it, which I do, alot.

But can I give up the 75% in the search of the 25% with someone else? Probably wont ever take the risk plus I want to find the other 25% with the one im with.

If im making no sense at all tell me to shut up.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Such truisms- it is amazing what we deny ourselves, just because we think we are not worth it, will fail, or even get laughed at. I have been married for a similar length of time as you El, and i often go through difficult patches with OH-but we do have a lot in common...which goes some way to getting us through it. It does overwhelm me at times, this feeling of doing it all myself... but i am sure it is the same for him. I wonder if bunny has asked him that as well-does he want the passion back or is he also afraid to ask?
You are a very wise woman Elantan, the councelling profession will be sadly lacking. Maybe you should start an agony aunt thread. ASK EL?:T
