I've only read the first post on this topic.. not read all arguments for/against.
I just wanted to add something which may not have been touched on apart from the dental aspect.
It has been reported by recent research that high levels of fluoride could potentially be a contributing or causing factor of fibromyalgia.
I have fibromyalgia and when I was younger my Mum was advised by the dentist to administer fluoride drops... now I have white lines across the front of my teeth which I can never get rid of (even with whitening) and may also have found a contributing factor to my developing fibromyaligia.0 -

Only getting online to reply now. No I don't have a link to where I read it as it was afew months ago but there has been ongoing credible research.
However, I've had fibro for many years and take most research on the subject with a massive pinch of salt! :rotfl:
Just thought it would open up a new dimension on the topic of fluoride in water...0 -
Yes
I did say "Not the usual hotch-potch mess of hearsay, paranoia and anecdotes..."FurryPaws wrote:...there has been ongoing credible research
Well we'll have to wait for the outcome of this research. If it was a simple case of explaining fibromyalgia symptoms as being due to fluoride poisoning then I imagine the cure (stop ingesting fluoride) would be having some startling results by now!
Massive pinch of salt indeed0
