I bought some fleeces to use as secondary curtains behind my french doors instead of linings, then I can take them off easily to wash them (well, that´s the theory anyway)

What kind of fleeces do you mean, the small throw type things that they sell for the sofa/bed or the fabric?
Mind you the twins have all of mine, they kept swiping them for blankets for their babies.!
I shall start the Charity shop hunt for heavy weight curtains I think.
Today I am off for Accupuncture at 8am! Then at 12 I am taking twin2 for her first Scan. To check the dates for baby. (Lets hope its is only a single baby and not twins!).
Better get on and finish getting ready or will be late.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Twin2 is only having one baby. Phew. But she is further on then she thought, shes about 15 weeks not 12.
I didnt get Accupuncture in the end, I disgussed with the doctor the way I have been feeling and we reduced the medication that I am on instead. I went into the charity shop for a rummage. Picked up a maternity skirt for Twin2 for £1 and another skirt for £1 that I want to turn into cushion covers. I also managed to get some photoframes and some framed pictures from freecycle, so I am over the moon. I can put up pictures of the kids (old school photos), and I have pictures that I can use for presents too. I think I got 15 pictures/frames. All for the asking.
We will make the girls rooms more homely and the cottage too.
No sign of fleeces or curtains today though.

Save small jars - especially the type that have sandwich spread in them. Then, when you make jam, as I did today, and have a tiny amount left, you can seal it in one of your tiny jars and it will keep as long as the rest.

    Looks good too

The throw type ones. We live out in the countryside in Spain, and only have access to the local markets, unfortuneately they don´t have material stalls

i pick up hubbies change which he leaves lying around! Plan was to squirrel away £1 per day - towards Christmas - but this morning I found a pile of loose change - £10 plus!

he doesn't like a lot of change in his pockets.......well i like it in my Christmas pot!

I also convince hubby to put at least some of his 'shrapnel' into the savings pot each night. He did it for the first time during 2008 and realised that by 27th Dec he had enough for new years eve partying, so guess on 1st Jan who was keen to start his pot for 2009!

I have added some articles on a 6 month review to save cash, and also how to save time, to my blog:

Hope it helps and any comments much appreciated!
