I've heard that wee is also good for athlete's foot!!! Not sure if it works as never have tried it.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:

Hey, now there is an idea. I have a few stubborn weeds to get rid of, I wonder if it would kill them off.

I have heard that if you pee on your hands it makes them nice and soft, no need for hand cream. Not tried it myself. Suspicious of men with soft hands now:D

Urea is a component of urine. It can be synthesized and is used in foot creams eg. Flexitol Heel Balm

Milk of magnesia makes a great face mask and is brilliant for getting rid of blackheads (sorry gross I know), wipe over the face with a cotton ball soak in MoM and let it dry before rinsing off. Much cheaper than face mask packs or the Biore strips.

Intensive conditioner: Warm a desert spoonful of olive oil (I do it in the microwave) and massage through dry hair. Keep it away from the roots though. Wrap your hair in a plastic bag then a towel. Leave for at least 15 minutes. Then wash it out but apply the shampoo to your hair BEFORE you wet it. Sounds strange but trust me it works.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Is it seriously the exact same stuff? Oh only gets it for presents anyway:rotfl: And gets enough to last a year:rotfl: Interesting to know its the same stuff, not just a similar smell:eek:
EDIT: I bought oh a twinpack of 'faux lynx' ;) from poundland and it does smell the same, cant remember if it was axe but the name rings a bell!

i live in germany and AXE is sold throughout all supermarkets. my hubby used lynx when we lived un england and did not believe me that it was the same stuff. he now uses the deo and the shower gel as it is the european name for lynx.

I think I'd rather buy plastic plants :undecided

Re the oil for making a room smell fresh, if you don't want to put it on your lightbulb, a drop on a cotton pad sat on the radiator also keeps the room fresh. Or you could sit a small dish of water with one spray of your favourite perfume on top of the radiator too (my favourite, personally :D)

I've loved all these tip :j and though I do quiet a few...Sssshhhh!! dont tell the kids, they would be horrified:eek: that there conflakes and weetabix arent a named brand. I had also let others fall by the wayside:( so this has given me a reminder to think about how I use things.

I use a mooncup instead of tampons and I think that in the 3 years I've had it, it has more than paid for its self and also saved ££££.

My DD and DS love going to the picture and if we are doing this I either try and get tickets through one of the free cinema ticket site or use orangers two for one wendnesday's.
My daughter loves reading but refusers to use the libarary so she uses read it swap it to exchange the books she has read for those she wants to read.

Our local council runs a scheme that lets children use the swimiming baths for free. believe me in the summer this saves me a ££££ as the cost of filling a swimming pool with water daily soon adds up.
