I've seen stardrops mentioned a few times but Mr T's website doesn't stock it - where can I get hold of some?!
    Thank you!

I get it from a cheap discount store near me but I know they stock it in my local home bargains. Maybe try Wilkinsons?

My Tesco used to keep it but have found places like Semi-Chem keep it or Wilko's and independent general stores seem to have it too.

Thank you! Hadn't thought about a scarf - will try that. Have been huddled under a blanket for the past few days...haven't watched so much daytime TV since I was a student!! Funny how the BBC seems to think property shows are still a good idea...

Thanks for all the advice re Stardrops, will hunt it out tomorrow...:T

Get well soon Kerik. Lots of hot drinks (anything with caffeine in it as it helps0, much better than the cold remedy drinks.

Too true - I've also discovered that there's some ingredient in cold remedies that gives me an instant headache! Pheny-something or other...so no lemstuff for me. Have to say as well that I've spent an awful lot of time on the forum and it's been a great help! so thank you...:T
  • We make our own remedy

    Grated ginger
    Lemon juice
    Honey

It's trial & error with qty depending on own taste bubs.

Brew in boiled water approx 5-10 mins then strain, I don't bother straining it as I love it strong.

We drink this even when we fine, it's nicer than any lemon & ginger teas I've ever tried.

I always wear a scarf around the house and in work when I feel the first twinges of a sore throat, to try and stave off tonsilitis!!! I have a small grey fleecy scarf which is very comfy. I also do my own honey and lemon hot drinks too.

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
