hi all
just looking into this for my daughter who texts all the time and spends at least £5 a week.
it says text is unlimited but i wouldnt want her to go over hr calls which are 100 free on this.
does anyone know if i can prevent the phone or network so she doesnt go over this?
The quickest way for a parent to get a child's attention is to sit down and look comfortable.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I would be interested to know as well.

Hi I was in the same situation with my chatterbox son who was running up huge bills on O2. O2 and Orange said they didn't put caps on. I think they do rather well out of people who go over the allowance. I think the network that does in future this will have alot of parents signing up for their teengers. T mobile offer something a bit similar but I don't think its a great deal.
    Good luck.

Basically no - it's in the network's interest to let you run over your allowances. Either teach your kids self-control or put them on PAYG (T-Mobile offer U-Fix which is like a mix between PAYG and contract, but the deals are terrible).

Is it possible to use it with a Sim locked phone so that the voice calls can only be used to specific numbers?

Is a Sim lock easily got round by a tech savvy teenager?
