Thriftlady, not having slow cooker or breadmaker makes you even MORE OS as it means you do things even more from scratch, don't despair!

I had both and gave them both away, breadmaker to a friend and slow cooker to freecycle, when I realised that they were sitting there unused!

OS is a state of mind and from what I see of your posts you really have earned your stripes!!! :money:

I have a breadmaker which I never use as I prefer to use a full bag of flour at a time and make 3 loaves together (or like tomorrow 2 loaves and some pizza bases for the freezer for tea on Wednesday). I have a slow cooker but I inherited it from my dear Mum when she passed away in 1998 - you don't get more O/S than that.

I don't have a food processor but have thought about getting one - I just keep thinking that I have graters, knives and spoons so I never get round to it:rolleyes:

We are all as O/S as we want to be which is the way it should be - we are not here to keep up with the Joneses after all:T
