    How are you hunnie?

    We loves you too, dawny!action-smiley-033.gif
Bless you dawny, you don't have to reply hun - I just hated the thought of you going through all that on your own as it were. I am sorry to have done such a long, complicated and boring post in reply angel - one of those mega Tiffy posts!speechless-smiley-040.gif Good luck to anyone it makes sense to - and that includes myself!rolleyes.gif Enjoy the holiday hunnie - you've done more than enough thinking for now already this week. Have a rest angel.wink.gif

    Hi Tiff.
A bit emotional today to be honest. No motivation.
I'm starting to have problems sleeping again.

I feel bad because my youngest pup has a tick!!! It's horrible! And goodness knows how long it has been feeding on him! I feel so bad for not noticing and when we did we thought he had gotten a wart until I noticed its legs tucked away. Its so gross!
It must have just jumped on while we were jogging down the dene!! :(
We are removing it when my Fiance is up.
    Poor poor Odie!!:cry::cry::cry:

And I forgot to put the lotto on last night and we would have won a tenner! Never won it before either. Just our luck. Could have been worse though - all of our numbers could have come up!

And last night half asleep I scratched myself...down there...cos I had a little itch but I scratched my itch with the one finger that has a jagged nail (I meant to file it yesterday and forgot  ) and I broke the skin so it burns when I pee now!!!

And I can't stop thinking about money. :( Everythings becoming so expensive!!
I can't remember the last time I bought myself a treat, and even buying groceries I find myself humming and harring worrying over how much I am spending!! We are doing our budget again tomorrow though so hopefully that will help me relax a little.

Please don't apologise for your post Tiff. It was helpful.
By the way I work in call centre. People phone for loans. Hard enough job as it is because I hate to see so many people putting themselves into so much debt, I hate having to tell people they were declined when they really need the money, I hate the fact that we recently have so many people calling for loans to help pay bills - council tax, electricity - what is the world coming to?
We can't offer loans for that purpose anyway, but it makes me see the world in a more negative light again. When people feel they need to try and get a loan just to pay everyday bills!!
I hate how I have to try and sell insurance on the loans (to those that have insufficient cover currently) to sell something I think you need to believe in it, how am I supposed to believe in and be positive about insurance when my own company's insurance wouldn't halp me out and forced me back into a job that I feel puts too much pressure on me before I was ready to go back and face it?
And since I was sick I have lost the little bit of confidence that I did have which means I find it difficult on the phone.

Sorry am just whinging on again!!

However I don't really understand the DLA aspect. Why would the government give me money alongside my wage? I just don't get it.
I don't think I would qualify because I am able to work I just cry a lot while I do it!! lol
And now I am not on medication it might be seen a bit as if..well..if I won't help myself why would anyone else help me? Sort of thing if that makes sense?

I do want to help myself, don't get me wrong.
I'm working through a self help guide still, eating a careful healthy diet which includes foods that boost serotonin, trying to exercise, I just don't like the idea of being on medication. I never did.
And like I said before because I was in such a mess on them I did think maybe I would be better off without them anyway?

I need to go back to the doctors soon anyway. I just don't know what to say.
I find I often get there and I feel ok-ish so I pretty much say that and that's it.

I hope everyone else has a lovely day today.

Fiance is going out this afternoon to a friends for a drink so I am going to take the laptop to bed and play bingo with some free bingo funds.

    Hi katie-tulip!:hello:
Thanks for posting hunnie and letting us know how you are. I knew if the word 'smarties' was mentioned often enough that you'd appear.:hello:
I'm sorry to hear you've been poorly angel and I'm sure we all wish you a speedy recovery.sLo_grouphug.gif
As you can see, a lot of peeps here have been asking after you, (sazzy even got up early!yes.gif), so I hope it makes you feel better (along with your mum's cooking!wink.gif), to know how much you're cared for. I'm doing a lot of tiffing atm, so I can't make it all the way down south with a bunch of flowers for you - but here's one to keep you going.wink.gif

    Hi guys!:hello:
In my capacity as thread cat, rolleyes.gif, (too old to be anything else!biggrin.gif), I've noticed how most of us have posted something along the lines of...''No-one understands.''.....''What should I tell them?''.....''What will people think?!''.....''I feel so ashamed/embarrassed!'' etc, in connection with them being diagnosed with a mental health illness.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's become aware of how many of us go through the emotional pain, caused by the stigma of having mental ill health issues. It's very rare to hear of someone who hasn't had the above thoughts and questions, imho.
It's something nobody wants, didn't ask for, finds it hard to deal with and it can be very frightening too. Even well-meaning friends and family can make incorrect assumptions of what having mental ill health means. I have yet to meet an axe murderer among us! (I guess that would only happen once anyway!giggle.gif)
It is a completely individual illness and everyone's situation and treatment has to be tailored to give them the best recovery they can get. I guess we drew the short straw, huh guys?
    Well, maybe not.wink.gif
I hope no-one minds me bringing this up, but as MIND are involved, it seems genuine. I will say at this point that I have nothing to do with this charity, or any others, in any way and obviously, as with everything else here at MSE, please use your own judgement.wink.gif Also, soggy Tiffy apologies if anyone who has already brought this to your attention.
There is a potentially great campaign being launched at the start of June, called ''Moving People.'' This is from their interim website page at http://www.movingpeople.org.uk/ , introducing the campaign and newsletters.
''We are about to move a large step closer to eliminating stigma and discrimination from mental health – Mental Health Media, Mind, Rethink and the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London have been awarded £18 million from the Big Lottery Fund and Comic Relief to run a programme to allow us to publicly challenge attitudes towards mental illness in England and counter discrimination against people who experience mental ill health.''
They have already set up 28 groups across the country before their formal launch in June, and are looking to start groups in other areas, offering us training, funding and mentoring. They are even asking for your opinion on how to design the campaign logo. They have also produced a pledge card which can be signed online and also pledge cards which can be downloaded or ordered for distribution or display within our own communities, to further underline this message and campaign. Here's the link for that guys...
    http://www.movingpeople.org.uk/pledge/index.html
Someone is finally making a huge push to alleviate the stigma that many mentally ill people endure. If we can get this issue aired in the public arena, as other stigmas have been, then the issue stands a good chance of no longer being ignored.
This is a real chance for us to be part of something big and something in which we get the chance to help ourselves, imho.
Now puh-leeze don't go running down the street shouting, ''I've got a mental health illness - hurrah!'', unless you want to be spending the night somewhere very soft and quiet!blink.gif That's not what's expected. Imagine the impact that could be gained, if all everyone does is to order a few of these free cards and put them in shop windows, leave them on buses, trains, taxis, in schools, store checkout shelves or medicine aisles, toilets (don't ask me why I thought of that one!rolleyes.gif ), libraries etc!action-smiley-033.gif But no littering ok?! I'm not carrying the can for that one.
And just think how cool it would be the next time one of those doorstep callers knocks and you open the door with a smile, hand them a little card and then say goodbye and close the door?!biggrin.gif
Anyhoo, I hope this was of interest to someone guys. It certainly caught my attention (yes, I know I'm easily entertained!rolleyes.gif), and speaking personally, I'm fed up of being made to feel as if I'm the one with the problem, when the real problem is ignorance.
Er... could someone help me down from here, please? soapbox.gifblush1.gif
    Hugs to all.sLo_hug2.gif
