Not posted on this thread before. Hope no one minds. Just feeling really sad at the moment. All the time. I know I'm going through a break up but I don't seem to be able to shake off this bad feeling. Feel lonely and lost.

Hi ellerose:hello: Welcome, off course nobody minds, everyone is welcome here feel free to post as much or little as you like there is usually someone around.Sorry you are feeling sad at the moment but not suprising after a break up.Everyone recovers at a differant rate, how long is it since you broke up?i think if the sad feelings are lasting months rather than weeks and you feel sad ALL the time then it may be a good idea to see a doctor.

btw, hi and welcome to ellarose....pull up a pew.takes along time to get over a break up.....dont know if its worse if it was amicable or if you end up the worst of enemies cos it takes awhile to see clearly after the rose tinted specs and all the good memories come back even if most of the time they were being awful, etc.sorry i dont knw all the ins and outs and dont want to intrudeon something so personal and still raw.take one day at a time cos a break up is like a death, iykwim.so much pain cos you put so much of yourself into it and tell someone the most personal stuff...
take care and be good to yourself.keep posting.it will get better, promise...will sneak up on you one day and youll find its not the main topic of your life so hang in there.

    Hi Everyone,
Well Landlord eventually rang me and said they are happy to have us as tenants:j . He wants 6 weeks rent as a deposit. I told him yesterday that hosuing benefit would not pay the rent he is asking for but I could apply for discretinoary housing benefit but that I may not get it.My weekly rent allowance is £213.46 a week, his asking price is £950 a month, so I dont know what 213.46 would make a month, just goes to show how bad my maths is lol. He also wants references and a guarantor.I said it wasnt a problem and he said he wanted to dort out a few things before I could move in like fixing and cleaning although I said I was happy to do it myself to save him time and money. He said he had to get a contract sorted ect.
Im not getting my hopes up as this has happened to me before when the council found a private place, they should be the property and council said they would sort it out which was nearly 2 weeks ago, they are still waiting for the paper work but that was quite far from my sons school which would mean I would not be able to send him to his school.
I really hope it does go ok and smoothly.Yesterday the landlord said If housing benefit wouldnt pay his asking price it would be ok and he was happy with the 213.46 a week but it will have the £950 on the tenancy agreement, hope he doesnt stitch me up with it.
Ive done so much house work, sorted out most of DS's old toys he doesnt want, so going to get them to the charity shop.
Thank you all for keeping your fingers crossed for me.I really hope it all goes ok and I can get out fo this S@@@ hole.I know landlord wont give me a reference, so have asked my brother and I wil ask one of his friends who use to be my manager. As for the deposit I dont know how Im going to get that. I cant ask my brother as he is going abroad for a few months to look after my mum, it wouldnt be fair.I know I wont get my deposit back from my landlord as my previous council paid him that. But I am thinking of using the rent he is due which is £800 and then getting together the rest through here and there.Do you think I would get in trouble for using the rent for where I am now as part of the deposit? Its so hard, I feel I cant win either way.
Anyway hope evryone else is good.Welcome the newcomers, feel free to post when you like. One of us will come online sooner or later and you will got lots of support and useful advise on here.Break ups usually can take time but thats why they say time is a great healer. A little patience too and Im sure you will be fine. You need to find things that wil take your mind off things.I know its hard but you have come to the best place.Sending you hugs xxxx

diamond...many congrats..im so pleased for you.i deffo use the rent and let this s*d of a landlord sing for it.tell him its in lieu of repairs and compo for making your lives dangerous and let him chase you for it if he dares.im really happy for you cos you sooo deserve it.i wouldnt worry for now if the landlord says its ok re the shortfall, main thing is to move to the new place, at least any place will be better thasn where you are now, so cross any probs as they arise.
hope it all goes brill for you. you made my day:):)...barnsleys losing but its early hopefully.

Hey folks. I've got the rage today for some reason. It feels like it's a matter of time before I hurt someone else, or myself. I dunno what's triggered this, but I don't like feeling like this.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
