diamond...i really hope you get the flat, you really deserve some good luck.ds just got rid of his bad cough.dr gave him cough meds but no improvement in a week so he gave him some white horrid liquid antibiotic and that seemed to do the trick so, although i know you shouldnt have antibiotics for cough, it was prob an infaction that the cough was masking, iykwim.may be worth asking ??...landlord prob thinks you are lovely and will look after his property cos he might get a right one in for higher rent who trashes the place so a great tenant like you for less money would be better for him in the long run.

sorry if my post goes strange as im listening to the radio at the same time and sometimes it makes you write what you are listening, iykwim:)so the spelling may go weird.am listening to local radio as they have gone to wembly 2day so am trying to keep up.
quidco have made a/c inactive cos they say ive been daily clicking on stuff than i should have only clicked once.was lands end ,it never said that you could only click once....and whiskas, which never paid anyway for any clicks.did clicks for family, doh me:( so were diff addresses....(should thank me for the business, but they say its dosh under false pretenses:( )....i apologised and said it was completely accidental and no deliberate fraud.they said on the quidco thread that they had been very harsh not to warn me first.id have stopped asap if they had said.....never been dishonest before or malicious with intent, iykwim.i cant even log on to cancel my bank details and that wat worries me most.they may change their mind so i have to wait.it was getting abit of a chore anyway for 10p a day so its a small loss ,i suppose...just hate the injustice.you live and learn.theres lots on this site who go out of their way to get round quidco for as much dosh as they can deliberately and they never get caught....and mine was completely innocent and accidental and they have hauled me up.
rbk....was lovely about the deposit from the charity.i presume you live in london or near there cos of the cost of renting.i dont know how you afford to live down there, its so expensive.....wished i was still living at home,if i knew then ,what i know now, id never have left, but i understand about wanting your own style and space and independence.good luck.xx

Hoping everyone is safe and sound.
Well, we've got about an inch and a bit of snow covering everything this morning - clear blue skies and it's so pretty. The pavements are clear too so everywhere looks lovely. I had to laugh this morning as I looked out of my kitchen window: a starling swooped in on a flight path to land on my snow-topped fence, missed its grip and went into a bush! I shouldn't laugh really - when I was but a young Tiffster, I had more than one Saturday night end like that!

Ahem - and moving swiftly on ...time for some Tiff-bits methinks...

steph, shaz, diamond, katie (and anyone else) - sorry to hear you've all been poorly this week guys and I hope you're all well onto the road to recovery from sharing those nasty germy things. However, if you hadn't been kissing and hugging each other so much, you wouldn't be in this predicament! Get well soon guys.
katie - hey - you stay away from the gee-gees missy! I can see certain people's influences at work here. So that'll be 12 'Hail Mary's' and a week in Bognor for you as penance! Well done on your piccies with your new camera and on your pottery, angel! You're a multi-talented tulip.

shaz - and well done you on joining the local depression support group. I'm really proud of you, hun! It's not the easiest thing to do but I'm sure you'll benefit from it. I can see an improvement in you angel, evident by the way you are looking at different ways to fill your days. I know you've got a lot on your plate with the boys shaz, but you're doing a great job.

rbk, fg, juno, santas, sf - it's great to see you guys posting again! Seems some of you have been away for quite a while - but you're never forgotten guys...names are still on the register.

cc - good luck with the move hun - I hope all goes well. Just take some deep breaths and count to 400 when it all gets too much.


It does seem as if some of our usual suspects are missing in action, as it were. So a big shout out to our ethel, gem, bmf, cb2, horace, the stenmeister (gario), dawny, rose, miro, meyore and blinky. Just stick your head round the door guys and say hi - or you could just send me a cheque...:shhh: - just to let us know how you are. Thinking of you all - and in a good way too.

morning tiff :j how are you today hun? my cold is slowly getting better thanks, feeling positive today, and looking forward to starting my computer course tommorrow. not much planned for today, may take the lads for a walk this morning , looks nice and sunny out, then a trip to cinema this afternoon. look after yourself hun.
ilgd, you have done nothing wrong hun, so need to feel like a criminal. i hate the way small things like this can put a real downer on us, hope you feel better soon hun.

Morning All,
Hope your all good and well. Thanks everyone. I still havent heard from landlord. Im getting a bit worried now. His tenants that left a few days ago actually broke stuff and left in a mess.They also lefta lot of unpaid bills and now they have moved abroad.
Its full of snow down here in my part of London.DS wants to go in the garden but its full of broken glass and other dangerous things so I wont let him plus his cough is still bad.He is hardly eating which upsets me but I suppose even when an adult is ill, you dont feel like eating.Will do him some soup for lunch.
I havent got anything planned today. I will be doing lots of house work as that will keep me busy.Anyway guys Im going to love you all and leave you all for a little bit, have a little wonder on the forums and then get on with house work.Then I will be back.Im going to try and stay positive and hope I hear good news from the landlord.If I dont hear from him then I cant really do much.I sent him email yesterday and have sent him a txt this morning.Atleast I know I have shown interest.
