cc....dont worry about me taking him again.i told dh, over my dead body.his mother thinks that now he has a passport we will take him everytime, if she pays for him.
as far as im concerned, she could pay for us all plus spending money, and i still wouldnt go.
dh doesnt want to come out and say what hes been like cos they wouldnt believe us cos they think the sun shines out of him.dh just said we wont be taking any relly again as its too much responsibility to take some one elses kid abroad.
im not bothered if i fall out with them cos i dont think mil likes me anywayPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Wow ILGD thats some holiday!!! I think another is in order to get over the first one ...
Things have Got to improve after all that.
I had a dog too which we had to have put to sleep after 12 years, it took a long time to buy another dog and even now I cant help but feel sad about him - he didnt have the best life really with my poo parents neigher does the one we have now in fact. But Charlie sounds like he had a wonderful life and Im sure that there must be a doggy heaven so he probably watching now.

I am messy, I try not to be, its a massive thing for me, how I'd love to be sorted out but my thoughts take over and its like Im stuck.0
-
I just wish I wasn't in such a mess emotionally and physically.
hope everyone else is feeling better than me. The one thing I can do is sleep, I could sleep all day and all night (if I didn't have two small children)0 -
I'm not getting at anyone for being messy - my flatmates are lazy, good for nothings who do sweet FA without being forced too. I shouldnt go into it but one has got to be one of the worlds biggest benefit scronger and manipulative individual ever.

Sorry Jen, it must be a nightmare living with lazy people, I call myself lazy all the time when I look at my life. Maybe the benefits people need to take a closer look at this individual. People get away with so much it really gets to me, I hate things not being fair.
Now I have the delights of a trip to Tesco. never a nice thought!0 -
Hi ilgd
I hope you're feeling a bit better after your nightmare couple of weeks. You're quite right in refusing to deal with that monster again. What the heck is wrong with some kids these days??
(((((big hugs))))) to you, please dont feel guilty about Charlie being in kennels, he had a really good life with you which is more than a lot of dogs have.
Hi everyone else (((((hugs))))) to CCstar, Jen and everyone else who is having a bad day today.

if i was you, id keep all my stuff in my bedroom, cutlery and crockery as well.just bring it out as i used it.then wash up my own and take it back, even keep my washing up liquid locked away...then when they had run out of stuff, they would have to wash up.cant you buy a little tv for your room so you could watch your stuff.
or get everyone to agree to a rota and if they dont. just keep your own space tidy, and dont clean up for everybody, cos as long as they know that you will give in, they wil not alter.
and dont be tempted to lend them anything, like cups, etc ,....when there is no clean stuff to eat out off, they will have to wash up.at least you will have a clean bedroom to escape to.and get a lock for your room so they cant pinch your stuff when you arnt there.
they cant complain that you are being petty when they are lazy....so be strong and play them at their own game.People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

thanks pc and shaz for your posts.i know charlie had a really good life after we rescued him at 18 months.just all came at the same time.he hadnt been 100%for a while but you try to ignore it abit cos you get scared.we took him for his shots a few months before hols and i cant rem vet mentioning a lump in his throat.she mentioned the heart murmur when she said not to remove a cyst on his leg if it wasnt bothering him...then on thurs, his heart rate had doubled and the throat lump had enlarged.she also founds more small lumps in his chest and he had lost loads of weight.i suppose we noticed more cos we hadnt seen him for a week, wheras when you see them all the time, you dont notice the small changes.
just the carp hol bringing it all to the for, iykwim.
i really hope thats all the awful stuff gone now, so im trying to put it behind me and get my positivity back.People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

I doubt you can be classed as lazy in the same way as my flatmates can be ... being ill and lacking motivation is not lazy!
I agree I hate things not being fair but this individual seems to have the system all sewn up; 16 hb paying the rent, on IS to pay for everything else, work shy bf over every night hogging our tv, never does anything around the house unless its unavoidable and to top it all off she is now pregnant and just awaiting being far enough "gone" to be be able to force the council to give her a council house...
Life is definitely unfair.
