Thank you for the welcome Tulip

CCStar, many thanks for your reply. Sleep isn't a problem for me, it has always been my escape from reality. One good thing now, is when I wake up I no longer wish, I hadn't. However difficult it is dealing with three boys, it has given my life purpose.

So far, I have managed to get the bottles sterilised ready to make feeds and my 3 yr old is eating a proper meal for lunch, not just chocolate spread sandwiches, it's lovely to see him stuffing his face. And I've decided that I will walk the boys up to school to collect my eldest. If I could just clear all the clutter that's spread across the kitchen floor, it would look as if I'd done something productive when OH gets in.

    Well done

Does your OH give you a hard time about the clutter?

I worry you say sleep is an escape from reality - what reality are you trying to avoid?

Yes he does, but I hate it as well. I can be the most organised person, but another way of sabotaging myself is to live in this chaos. I spend my time continually beating myself up for be so useless, but I make everything deliberately difficult for myself. It's a Catch22 situation that I need to stop myself doing and start going a bit easier on myself.

As for escaping reality, I think that all revolves round wanting to control life too much. We were going to move, in order to be mortgage free, but I can't cope with change and the unknown, so that idea's been scraped for the moment.

This is all very deep for a Tuesday afternoon!

You are expecting too much of yourselves and a change of residence is a very stressful experience, even thinking about moving from a place you like.

We are just moved to start a new life and it does bring it's own set of new challenges.

I'll back off if it is being too heavy for you

    (((big hugs)))
