Hi all,

My contract with Dialaphone is coming to end an end and I have given my 30 days notice to T-Mobile to cancel the contract.

I have recieved my bill dated March 11 and to receive my final cashback cheque I must send this bill between April 10th - May 10th.

However I notcied in the important points "You will cease to be entitled to your redemptions if your airtime contract has been terminated at the date the redemption has been applied unless a delay in applying the redemption is our fault."

Does this mean I will not receive my final cashback as I have cancelled my contract? My contract end date is around April 10th as I wanted to avoid paying for a 13th month.

If this is the case I would rather contact T-Mobile and un-cancel my contract to make sure I get my final cashback.

Any help or advice would be greatly apprciated.
Titch :)

Just came across this thread whilst searching the forums on exactly the same subject. I am in the same situation as the OP so any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not an authority on this subject ny any menas but i just wondered how dialaphone would know that you had cancelled your contract because T-Mobile won't tell them, dialaphone were the retailer you used and T-mobile is the provider, there should be no communication between the two, as far as i see it.
But that's just my thought, i don't want you to lose your cashback because of it!

    Thanks dfub.

That's pretty much what I thought (I'm with o2 as it happens, but the principle is exactly the same). My intention was to serve notice on o2 at the end of my current 12 month contract and sign up to a new contract using Dialaphone again.

It would seem a shame to have to keep the old contract going for a couple of months at full price if I don't have to. But, at the same time, I don't want to mess up the final cashback!

Cheers. Thanks for the helpful replies.

Think I'll cancel in month 11 as suggested and see how it goes. Will let you know if I experience any problems.

    hi there,
my contract with O2 started on 25/02/08 and i got it through DAP. i just wanted to check if i need to send DAP 6th bill only or all six bills for my first cashback. uptill now i was thinking i need to send them one bill, dated 25/07/08 but i logged in my account and in My Schdule section i found out the following:

Mobile NoRedemptionStart DateExpiry DateReceived DatePaid DatePayment MethodValue Cashback 25 Aug 2008 25 Sep 2008
so does it mean that i need to send the bill (one bill only) dated, 25/08/08 or does it mean that i need to send bill dated 25/07/08 between 25/08 and 25/09. i really had bad experieces with this cashbacks matters (Mobile Rainbow) i hope not to be messed about this time so i would really appreciate any right response. thanks in advance.
