No-one seems to have answered this specific question so far - anybody? Stamps could become quite bulky so I can understand the reason for it.

thanks sue - it's often the way on here these days people seem to like the sound of their own vouice rather than reading to see if their questions already answered or checking their actually answering the question....maybe i'm just getting old but it never used to be this way

there seems to be only one charity that will cover the cost of getting the stamps to them so i guess my choice is easy
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

i'm bouncing this in the hope someone will reply
i'm looking for a charity that will take used stamps AND provide the envelope or postage cost for me to send them.

basically i'm happy to do the work collecting but not pay ££ to send (i've LOADS)

the one charity from previous posts that say they will do - don't answer emails so i still have stamps....anyone?

  • 'The Foresters' collect used stamps for "Save the Children Fund". You can find their branches here: http://www.foresters.co.uk/our_community/branches.aspx
as you are a large organisation, with presumably a large number of stamps, the local branch may collect if a member lives near you or your work.

littlejaffa - how much will it cost to send/post these stamps ? roughly ? my contact got back to me and wants to know a rough cost before deciding if its economically viable for their charity

This is FREEPOST address is where I sent my stamps last time. It's a scheme run by the Post Office I think, which distributes used stamps to charities. Might be worth checking it's still operating before posting. HTH
