Cheap International Mobile texts??

I wondered what is the cheapest way to text internationally? I have an monthly contract and international texts from the UK cost approx 12.8p plus VAT to Europe and Asia...any clues anyone?? Thanks

    with a mobile, the cheapest is o2 pay as you go with the international calls option (£4.99 one off payment) texts are then 10p.
